Compostable Disposable Dinnerware for Your Eco Friendly Lifestyle

I was recently sent a Leafware Sample Kit for review, which is a modern day, eco-friendly alternative to paper plates and plastic silverware which makes it a perfect addition to the PaperlessKitchen.com collection of green kitchen products. With summer in full swing, who wants to be in the kitchen doing dishes so going paperless with the convenience of paper plates sounded interesting.

The Leafware Sample Kit is the perfect alternative to paper plates when camping or picnicking with friends and family. The products are designed to be disposable and environmentally friendly, but have a contemporary look. All of the Leafware disposable dinnerware is made of discarded palm leaves that have been dried, sterilized and pressed into temperature-resistant, sturdy plates, bowls and trays.

I tried out the set of Leafware, which included Leafware’s most popular products. To serve a full meal including main courses, salads, soups and desserts, the kit that is available on the Paperless Kitchen web site includes two 10″ Dinner Plates, two 9″ Lunch Plates, two 7″ Salad Plates, two 5″ Dessert Plates, two 3.5″ Single Bite Plates, two 7″ Round Bowls and two 5″ Deep Square Bowls. Two 9″ by 6″ trays are also included. It even comes with utensils that are constructed out of sustainable birch wood and is free of glues and dyes.

The Leafware is definitely much better looking than ugly and environmentally unfriendly paper plates or (even worse!) Styrofoam plates. This dinnerware has no binders and no chemicals and is 100% natural and renewable. What’s more is that the set looks so chic, it was hard to throw them away after we had used them. The entire set is definitely a notch above anything else disposable that I’ve seen and I truly appreciate that this is an honest to goodness green solution. In my opinion, these are plates that not only get my seal of approval, but Mother Nature’s as well!
