A few months ago we were hosting a small baby shower for one of my nieces and decided to make our own baby shower party favors. One of the things we like to make when we host baby showers or children’s birthday parties are these really easy-to-make Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookie Sandwich Pops.
Here is how we make them:
1 package Double Stuff Oreo Cookies
1 pack lollipop sticks
1 bag chocolate disks (for melting)
food safe lollipop bags
satin ribbon (for tying bags shut)
icing, frosting, sprinkles or whatever for decoration
Melt the chocolate disks in a double boiler over low heat, stirring often. While the chocolate is melting, remove cookies from the package and insert a lollipop into the center of each cookie. Lay them on platters. Once the chocolate has completely melted, dip each cookie lollipop into the melted chocolate. Hold the lollipop over the pan for a minute so the excess chocolate drips back into the pan. Lay them onto a platter or baking sheet to firm up. As they are firming up, you can add decorator icing, sprinkles, etc. or leave them plain. Once they are completely firm you can bag them and tag them!

This is such a great idea–I’ll have to have my son help me make these.
What a great idea for a party favor, and they look delicious! Thank you for sharing!
These look great! They would make great party favors, Dressed up Oreo’s!
These are so easy to make and look great. I don’t know why I never thought about using Oreos to make lolliops, but now I shall be trying out this recipe at the next party/ occasion.

What a great idea! And as other commenters have said, these could easily be decorated for lots of different occasions. Thanks so much for the idea and how-to!
These are so cute, and easy enough for culinarily challenged person like me to do. Pinned and filed away for future reference….now if only there was an occasion for a nice party….

These are just adorable! and I love that they are so stinkin’ easy to make. They could be used for so many different occasions and I am printing this out to add to my book! Thanks.
