We have been pleased to be featuring a giveaway promotion with several other blogs the past two weeks or so for a lovely collection of cute stationery items courtesy of Ben’s Garden. I was asked to review the same items and share them with you today.
Ben’s Garden is a site I had never worked with before and I was pleased to find beautiful and fun items that arrived for my review. Ben’s designs are individually and beautifully handcrafted using traditional artisan techniques that are applied entirely by hand. His collection on the website includes coasters, superstrong™ magnets, French crystal paperweights, photo frames, framed artwork, and his celebrated découpage glass trays and platters. If you are in Manhattan or Long Island and soon select cities around the US, you can visit his shop too.
I was set two sets of his fun Scribble NotePads and a lovely French Crystal paperweight that contains one of my favorite sayings!
The Scribbler Pads are made with beautifully heavy paper that is a dream to write on. I received 2 different size packs – one with 3 pads that is about 4×7, perfect for scribbling notes during the day. This is emblazoned with the saying ” If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun” by Katherine Hepburn. The pad has a pink border to match the pink writing. Darling!
The second set of pads comes in a pack of 2 and measures about 5.5×8.5 and these are great for tucking a note inside of a card or something similar. The saying on this one is “I’m afraid my train of thought left the station.” This is in black with a red border.
The paperweight is a lovely weight with clear, crisp crystal that houses the sentiment from Dr. Seuss “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter & those who matter don’t mind”. The bottom is covered with soft fabric so as not to mar anything. What a lovely gift idea!

This is the first time I have looked at this site. Ben,s Garden has a lot of nice items, including other paperweights with sayings about friends and teacher
