My German Shepherd Blue has always been a ‘good boy’. He’s smart and listens to the commands given, which is just plain lucky for me because he is quite the spoiled brat: only the best of food, expensive toys (especially tennis balls), and delicious treats for him. This is lucky for HIM, since he was a puppy that his birth mom refused to feed. No matter, his new mommy (me) decided to save him to the best of my ability. So I didn’t officially get him from a rescue, but I feel like my family rescued him from an inevitable death or poor way of life. I fell in love with Blue instantly. He is my giant baby and a huge reason of why I advocate for adopting a shelter/rescue pet. I was very happy to find that I, well actually, Blue, was going to get some Oven Baked Dog Biscuits from Be Pawsitive to review.
Be Pawsitive is, in the simplest way, great. Their company is not only providing healthy, natural, and organic treats for our spoiled canines, but providing the same for the unfortunate shelter dog. It’s amazing to think that I am not helping just my dog feel good with the Be Pawsitive dog treats, but a shelter dog out there across the country is getting some tasty happiness also. Blue is glad of that also, since he likes to share with others. He even let his buddy Lou have some!
I found it interesting that the treats are small batch baked (for quality control). I think that’s fantastic, mostly because it shows the care put into them. That’s care for my beloved dog, as well as for the shelter dog that really needs that care the most. Another great thing is the flavors of the biscuits! They are so unique! Never have I heard of Banana Split dog treats before. And Blue gobbled them up very quickly! There’s Banana Split, Cheesy Berry, Iron Dog, Pizza Party, Power Berry, Pumpkin Pie, Relax, Rise and Shine, and The Original. There are so many to choose from!
Be Pawsitive’s products are at a great price. Not only for knowing that it goes towards your dog and the shelter dog, but also that it is high quality items. These biscuits are organic, good for your pet not because it’s gluten free but also from natural ingredients. I can be confident that I am giving Blue something that not only does he enjoy, but that’s good for him and his well-being. It can be difficult to be comfortable in giving my dog those “bacon” treats if you can’t pronounce some of their ingredients. Blue is my ‘good boy’! I have to make sure he has the goods!
Be Pawsitive is an American company, and wonderful also because they help their community. I like that there are multiple options on how to receive their treats. You can buy multiple treats of the different flavors at any time, or there is also a convenient monthly treat box order!
