School’s almost out and that means it’s time for families to hit the road with Thomas the Tank Engine for fun and immersive Thomas & Friends experiences around the country:
The Day Out With Thomas 2014 Tour is hitting cities all across the country from now through November where Thomas fans can meet and ride on the friendly blue engine while enjoying story time, movie viewings, and more. This year for the first time the life-size Thomas train will be able to talk to his fans!
This June Thomas is kicking off his first ever museum tour starting at the Minnesota Children’s Museum, where it will stay for 6 months. The 10-year traveling tour features a 1,500 square foot interactive version of the Island of Sodor will allow children to climb aboard a full-size model of Thomas the Tank Engine. Children will become real-life conductors and engineers as they build their own trains and race them along a giant track, work together to sort cargo, tend to engines, and more!
