Good morning everyone! Happy Thursday! We got a lot of clouds this morning and supposed to have some rain showers today. I will take it…because most of the week has been beautiful so far, so a little rain is a-o-k with me. Besides, light showers are great for my garden, heavy downpours, no!
Today’s Topic: We all know how important it is to start our day with a good breakfast. Today, we would like to know what the perfect breakfast menu looks like in your house?
For me, I am not a huge breakfast eater but I do try to eat something healthy every day to start off my day. I like to enjoy a good homemade fruit smoothie with maybe a bowl of gourmet oatmeal. Eggs are okay but I can only do eggs one or two days a week. Cereal is a snack to me but when I am not watching my weight…I am all about some genuine French toast and sausage patties. Yum!
I rarely eat breakfast but I’ll try to eat a protein bar when I can. I prefer to eat breakfast for dinner or lunch. I love oatmeal.
I am such a mess in the morning that I need to have something I can just grab and eat if I don’t have time to wait a couple of hours before breakfast. Even then, it’s usually just a bowl of cereal, or a toasted English muffin.
However, we are big Formula One racing fans, and the races are often broadcast live on weekend mornings. I like to make an occasion out of it by making a nice breakfast we can eat while watching the race, something like popovers with jam, or waffles.

For years I couldn’t eat breakfast since I got so early to go to work. Now I try to have yogurt and oats, often with fresh fruit, every day. On special days I would have an egg dish, French toast , waffles, pancakes, etc.
I LOVE breakfast! I could eat eggs for every meal of the day. For me, I usually begin my day with cereal or oatmeal.
