Our Daily Topic for today is going to be about emails, specifically ours! 🙂 We have been having several issues lately with many complaining that the emails have not been getting through. The service that we had been using, FeedBurner, is no longer being maintained and because of that fact, it became unreliable. Also many email services were blocking the emails too. So we decided that it was time to find a new service.
FeedPress is very similar to what we were using. You have several options on how you want to follow our blog, which are located on the right hand side bar of the blog. You can sign up for the feed to come into your favorite reader, like yahoo, plus you have the option of getting the emails, like most of you enjoy to do.
Simply use the button to choose your feed and right underneath that is the new email signup block. We will be getting a different email system in the future that is ours, but we are looking for one that is affordable and reliable too. Seems to be a tall order these days.

Thanks for this! I have been noticing that Feedburner burnt out. Glad you got a new service! Now, one of these days I need to figure out how this “reader” thing works…..is that like RSS? I don’t know what that is either. ………duh…….not the sharpest knife in the drawer here!
Sandy, Yes the feed and RSS is basically the same thing. If you click on the yellow button you will see different services where you can track what you favorite blogs are publishing every time they do. But you have to remember to go and look at the dashboard where you choose to house it
