DHC is best known for their line of skincare products but did you know that they also sell high-quality cosmetics? That’s right, they also sell mascara, eye shadow, eye liner, foundation, powder, blush and more!
For my review this time the company sent me 3 of their beauty items to try out for all of you. I received a mascara, eye shadow palette and a liquid eye liner.
First up, the Eye Shadow Palette EX PU04 in Enchanted Violet which comes with 2 eye shadow applicators and comes packaged in a beautiful mirrored compact. I love wearing purple eye shadow during this time of the year and let me tell you…these shades are just perfect!!!
You get 2 different shades in your compact so you can highlight and contour to your liking. One of the things I love about the eye shadow is that I only have to apply it once and it lasts all day long! In addition, I didn’t have to apply multiple layers of it either. There is a creme base (the lightest color that you see) that you put on your eye lids which is botanically enriched. Ahhh, I love cosmetics that offer you additional skincare benefits like this one!
The Liquid Eyeliner EX is fantastic! I typically use a very expensive creme eyeliner with an applicator but now…I am a convert to this liquid eyeliner! You can use it to line and define your eyes with ease and I experience absolutely no eye irritation at all. It lasted all day long and didn’t run or give me raccoon eyes by the end of the day. Love the precision control I get with this liquid eyeliner!!!
I have been using the same brand of mascara for the past 9 years until…2 weeks ago when I converted to the DHC Mascara Perfect Pro Double Protection in black. This is a long-lasting water- and oil-resistant mascara formula that stays on until you decide to take it off.
It utilizes tubing technology, this professional-caliber mascara encapsulates your lashes in polymer tubes that wear all day and night long. This means no flaking, smearing, smudging or need for makeup removers. At the end of the day, gently wash your face with warm water and the tubes will slide right off.
At first I was a little worried that this mascara would irritate my sensitive eyes but was pleasantly surprised that I had no problems with it at all. I found that I only needed one coat on my lashes which lasted me all day long. It didn’t run or smear at all. In addition, I love the fine mascara applicator brush that comes along with it. If you hate clumpy mascara that runs & gives you raccoon eyes…you definitely have to try out this mascara which is my new favorite! It is dynamite!
I am really impressed with all 3 of these beauty products that I got to review from DHC. I am happy to report that I trashed my old products and I am 100% satisfied with these! I love them!

I have never used DHC cosmetics, but I think you look great in this photo. I love the fact that the mascara doesn’t smear and with this tubing technology the tubes fall right off with a little warm water.

I don’t wear mascara or eye liner or shadows because they all make my eyes water and turn red. Sounds like these might not do the same.
I admit I don’t go much for names and tend to stick with what I can buy at the drugstore. They have some really good ones though, but I’ve never tried DHC. You have me wanting to. I first read this post thinking of my daughter. She is all about the eyes and playing with colors. I know she would love that you don’t have to layer on the shadow. I sweat and have been afraid of liquid liners, but this sounds like it stays put. Mascara is a big one since I want my eyes to show up behind glasses. These sound like great quality products that won’t irritate your skin, and they really made your eyes come alive.
I look forward to the samples in the DHC catalogs. I found my two favorites that way, the Deep Cleansing Oil that I love and the Velvet Skin Coat, another of their best sellers. I’ll have to try their makeup. I like the look here–great pic!
WOW Shelly! You look great. This is such a great photo of you! I like the makeup that you are wearing. It looks so natural and the colors are amazing. I too have problems with mascara because I have sensitive skin. The mascara sounds great.
Great photo! I haven’t tried their cosmetics yet, but I’ve been using their Deep Cleansing Oil forever, it seems. I love the way it works – you run into a DRY face, then just wash with their mild soap and water. It’s really good! DHC takes their customers’ skin very seriously, and I trust them with mine!
