Strawberry Shortcake Fun Under the Sun DVD

Strawberry Shortcake has been a part of our lives for almost 25 years! When my daughter was a little girl she was a big fan of hers and now that she has a daughter…she has passed on that love to her.

There is a brand new DVD out in the marketplace called Strawberry Shortcake Fun Under The Sun which was released back on May 13th, 2014. The DVD has a total run time of 71 minutes and if you have a hearing impaired child, closed captioning is an option.

Synopsis: Join Strawberry Shortcake and her berry best pals on some sweet sunshine adventures! Blueberry makes a berry big blunder when she overhears Strawberry and thinks her friend is taking all the pals on a tropical vacation. After Blueberry makes some very funny attempts to make things right, Orange Blossom tries to build the girls their own fabulous resort. When they all work together to make it Berry Bitty City-style, it’s perfect, so perfect in fact, that TV host Mavis Maraschino decides to do a segment on Cherry Jam right then and there! Will the girls ever get the Fun Under the Sun they’ve been dreaming of?

My Thoughts: My grand daughter will be 5 years old in a few days and loves Strawberry Shortcake! Matter of fact, last week I was out shopping and she picked up some new Strawberry Shortcake Summer PJ’s and a T-shirt for summer.

One of the things I like about Strawberry Shortcake (besides her being so dang cute) is that the story lines are always educational, fun and very entertaining. The DVDs offer quality programming for our little girls that will entertain them for many hours and teach them valuable life lessons in the process.

Before we watched the DVD together (I always watch a new DVD with her to make sure it is kosher for kids) I decided to print out the printable coloring pages first. While watching the DVD we sat down and did some coloring while it played. However, she could barely take her eyes off the TV so it was mainly me coloring! LOL

This is a wonderful DVD and you should pick it up while you can. It makes a great Birthday gift, Just Because Gift or give it to your little one on one of those days where they are driving you nuts & need some entertainment. Yes, we all have those days from time to time! Overall, we love this DVD!!!
