Doxy’s Fine Foods Seasoning Blends For Tasty Flavor Boosts

May 19, 2014 by Classystaff

We love to grill and make easy to prepare foods. I think most people do any more. Who wants to be stuck in the kitchen cooking huge meals when there are so many other things to do? With the weather hitting 100+ this week, the start of summer is here and I know my grill will be getting a workout! I am always looking for new ways to spice up my cooking flavors and I was happy to try out some new seasoning blends and review them for you, new to the market from a company called Doxy’s.
Doxy's Fine Foods Seasoning Blends For Tasty Flavor Boosts
Doxy’s Fine Foods has created a variety of seasoning blends, which boost the flavor of any recipe and are especially nice for simple grilled meats and vegetables. Doxy’s products are all-natural, low in sodium, vegan, and gluten-free making these blends just right for just about anyone!

Doxy’s artisanal seasoning blends are available nationwide to effortlessly transform grilled meats and vegetables to gourmet meals without fattening sauces or dips! Doxy’s™ seasonings are fat-free and flavor-packed for guiltless summer dishes.

I was sent 3 different packets to try out and they were all delicious. We got the Basil Poppy, Refined Ranch and Smokey Chipotle seasoning packets. I like the ease of use and the fact that these are in a zip sealing bag so they will remain fresh.

The first thing I made was the ranch. One of my favorite snacks to have around is celery and carrots so I can grab them and go.. I made a simple dip using the ranch and the recipe on the package. The taste was delicious and the family enjoyed it!

The other 2 packs were used a dinner when I made a simple hamburger meal with fried potatoes and veggies on the side. I added the Chipotle seasoning to the meat and the Basil Poppy to the potatoes and it was awesome. The Chipotle was not overly hot and added just enough flavor. The Basil Poppy transformed simple cut potatoes into amazing pan fried taste explosion! My son who is not a big fan of potatoes kept eating more and more. He and my hubby both said they were the best potatoes I have ever made. That is some testimony from them and it only took a few minutes!

We really enjoyed using the Doxy’s Fine Foods Seasoning Blends in our food. They were flavorful and easy to use. PLus Doxy’s offers other recipes on their site for inspiration too. And with Memorial Day, 4th of July and Summer around the corner, these would be a hit at your outdoor BBQ too!

Look at these delicious ideas from Doxy’s that will make your summer BBQ a tasty hit!

Veggie Lovers
The beauty of a barbecue lies in the effortlessness of turning vegetables into delicacies with the right seasoning and some time on the grill. Brush peeled carrots with a bit of olive oil and roll in Doxy’s Refined Ranch, or boost summer staples like corn, asparagus and artichokes with a shake of Doxy’s Natural Onion mix. These combinations are gluten-free, vegan friendly and still provide a surprising taste infusion for any herbivore.

Steak Rubs and Marinades
All of Doxy’s fabulous flavors taste great as a dry rub for quality steaks, or mixed with olive oil and white wine vinegar to make a marinade. Doxy’s Delectable Dill has light and sweet characteristics that pair well with smoky salmon entrees, or compliment a cool yogurt and cucumber topping. Doxy’s Delectable Dill enhances the flavor with onion, garlic and a dash of salt for simple, quality fare.

Camp Cookouts
Relax and enjoy outdoor vacations by upgrading ordinary camp meals with Doxy’s delicious, easy to pack flavor combinations. Doxy’s unique artisanal packaging is incredibly lightweight and mostly compostable. Create effortlessly flavorful meals, perfect for even the most discerning campers—like franks and beans treated to dashes of Doxy’s Smoky Chipotle Starter, or rub this blend on either side of hamburger patties for a simple way to cut down on condiments.

These seasoning blends sound fantastic, especially the basil poppy blend. This is the first time I have heard of Doxy’s Fine Foods, but I went to the site and they have an interesting cocoa blend. I am glad that the blends come in resealable bags.

We eat tons of fresh veggies during the summer months. Finding new ways to “spice em up” is hard sometimes. I like the sound of these blends and hope to see them in our area soon.
