300 Best Homemade Candy Recipes Cookbook

May 8, 2014 by Shelly

300 Best Homemade Candy Recipes CookbookI admit…I have a big sweet tooth! That’s right, every day I eat a little bit of candy and I am pretty happy that I have a medical condition that requires it. How lucky can I be, right? Right!

To help satisfy my sweet tooth and to keep my cravings fresh with new things, I am always looking for new cookbooks to make homemade candy. When given the opportunity to review the 300 Best Homemade Candy Recipes Cookbook, I jumped at the chance!

With hundreds of recipes for sumptuously mouthwatering candies, chocolates, pralines, cremes, fudges, toffee, holiday treats, no-bake cookies…this cookbook has it all! Yes, definitely something for everyone is here!

Title: 300 Best Homemade Candy Recipes
Publisher: Robert Rose
Author: Jane Sharrock
ISBN: 9780778804758

This cookbook is complete with easy-to-follow instructions, recipes and step-by-step photos and is a treasure trove for people to learn candy making at home. Some people even consider it to be the candy bible!

Some of the recipes inside:

* Butterscotch Nut Marshmallows
* Fruit Fancies
* Marry Me Toffee
* Lollipops
* New Orleans Roasted Pecan Pralines
* Tuxedo Fudge
* Marzipan Potatoes
* Blue Ribbon Turtles
* Luscious Raspberry Fudge Truffles
* and many more!!!!

Microwave Rocky Road FudgeWe decided to make the Microwave Rocky Road Fudge from page 131 in the cookbook. You only need 5 ingredients and your microwave oven to make this one so I consider it completely goof-proof! In less than 5 minutes our fudge was made and about 2 hours later it was firm. Wow…so easy to make and it was a HUGE hit with the family!!!

I am hoping to have some additional free time next week as I spotted a Wacky Potato Fudge Recipe that I just have to make. I remember being a little girl and my Nana making something similar to it.
