kashwere throwSpring is a wonderful time of the year. We are all busy getting through Easter, spring birthdays, weddings and then in early May is Mother’s Day. This time of the season means a lot of gift buying and for many of us…we look for special, unique and affordable gifts.

One of the type of gifts that I like to give during this time of the year is bedding. Yes, bedding! After a long hard winter, many of us are ready for some new fresh bed sheets, blankets and/or pillows. In addition, new bedding is ALWAYS a gift that is appreciated!

With Mother’s Day just around the corner I wanted a new throw blanket for my mother who will be having back surgery in late May. I know she will be feeling miserable and laid up for several weeks. With that said, I didn’t want just any “old” throw blanket. Nope, I wanted her new blanket to be luxuriously soft, easy to care for and over-sized so she could snuggle for long hours underneath it.

The company sent me one of their best-selling Kashwere Throw Blankets to review for all of you. As soon as it arrived, I knew it was just perfect for my mom! The throw blanket comes in oodles of different colors to match any home’s decor and measures approximately 52″ by 70″ in size. Plenty big enough for two people to snuggle under!

The throw is incredibly soft…so soft that you don’t mind sleeping underneath it in your Birthday suit! It feels incredible against your bare skin! It is the perfect weight throw blanket to use all year long. With proper care, it will not shrink, wrinkle or pill! Love how this throw blanket will hold up to many washings and not lose its shape.

We got the “cream” colored one for the review which works every where in my mom’s home. She can keep it on her favorite recliner, sitting chair, sofa or toss it onto the bed. It is so pretty that it is definitely a throw that you want to show off and for your guests to see and touch!

I gave it to mom last week as an early Mother’s Day gift and she couldn’t be happier with it! She is already using it and now I am completely jealous! My daughter is getting married in September and after she saw it…she added it to her gift list too! The entire family is impressed with this throw blanket and its super-soft qualities. I really don’t think you could find a softer blanket!

    Nandina Bamboo Towels is something else I really like. I keep looking in the store for Bamboo towels and sheets because I want to feel them, but I haven’t found them yet. I love the idea of making things out of bamboo since it is so plentiful.
