Every summer as a child we would travel down to the Jersey Shore and spend the season at the beach. My love for the beach started early in life and continues today now that I am mom, wife and grandmother with my own family.
While I have visited hundreds of different beaches domestically and abroad my favorite happens to be the Wildwood and Cape May area in New Jersey. There is just something special about the Jersey Shore that makes my heart sing!
I love jewelry and always look for unique beach pieces to add to my jewelry collection. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon Dune Jewelry and was instantly in-love with their unique, high-quality and affordable pieces.
Each piece of Dune Jewelry is handmade with beach sand from your location of choice. If they don’t have your location in-stock, you can send them beach sand from your favorite location and a custom piece of jewelry can be created for you.
Every product purchased from Dune is handcrafted in the beautiful state of Massachusetts and each is one-of-a-kind. Due to the natural color and texture of beach sand in general, each piece will have variations throughout. Sand from your favorite beach, ballpark or golf course can be used and each piece is created in precious sterling silver.
You can find various “collections” and styles within their jewelry lineup for both men and women. You will find necklaces, pendants, rings, earrings, bracelets, cuff links and more.
For my review I received the Sandbar Necklace made out of sterling silver filled with beach sand from Cape May, New Jersey. The necklace came with an 18″ sterling silver chain but you can also select a 16″ or 20″ sterling silver chain or black cord. It comes beautifully packaged in a gift box with romance card telling you all about your new jewelry piece.
As soon as I took the lid off of the gift box…I gasped at the beauty of my new necklace! Seriously, photos do NOT do this piece any justice at all. The sterling silver, 1.75”x.25” bezel is filled with beautiful beach sand from Cape May and I just love it!!! Stunning piece that is impeccable in its construction.
There are matching Sandbar earrings you can get to go along with your new necklace or opt for a coordinating piece from one of the other collections. Right now I have my “eye” on the stunning Sandollar Bracelet which is on my birthday wish list (hint to hubby).
What a great way to preserve those favorite beach vacation memories! My daughter is going to Fiji on her honeymoon and this would make a great post-wedding gift for her. I love this jewelry line and I think you will love it too!
