Roll Away Knots With the BodyworksBall

April 19, 2014 by Classystaff

Roll Away Knots With the BodyworksBall
There are four areas in my body that give ma a lot of trouble and they are my feet, my neck and shoulders, and my lower back. After multiple car wrecks in my life and spending way to many hours at the keyboard, it takes a toll on the body. I would love to have a permanent masseuse on call, but let’s be realistic about that! Sometimes I can get my hubby to work out the knots and kinks in my neck and shoulders, but he draws the line on the feet. I was excited to get to try out a cool new item that can really help alleviate some of those aches and pains I live with every day.

Called the BodyworksBall, it is a solid rubbery ball that is attached to an elastic cord and a solid comfort fit handle that allows you to control the ball. Now to look at it you wouldn’t think about how to use it but thankfully there are videos on the site to show all of the different uses along with some rave reviews from many happy folks.

Created by BJ Dowlen, a sports sports performance therapist for elite athletes, BJ knows what it takes to work out sore muscles. Taking her massage therapy to another level is why the BodyworksBall was created. Not everyone can travel with a masseuse or has access to one, so why not create something that can help you work out those painful knots and kinks after a hard workout or too many hours at a desk?

I was intrigued by the little ball. All you need to use the BodyworksBall is a solid wall so this is perfect for travel too! I have the perfect wall for this right in my bedroom so the first thing I did was head to that wall. The BodyworksBall is simple to use and it took me just a few tries to master the use. Man, I could really feel each knot as this ball rolled over them. I like that I can control the amount of pressure on the ball against my back rather than someone massaging it for me. My back is extremely sore and sensitive since it has been torn up in 5 car wrecks! Plus the added benefit is you can work your legs out with some squats while rolling!

This little ball is very effective. Just a wiggle here and there and you can move the ball around to the perfect spots on your back and neck. My feet love it too! Each night I roll my arches over this ball and it is heaven. Standing for several hours a day in uncomfortable shoes is not great for the feet, but the BodyworksBall has that covered in just a few rolls.

There is a lot of magic in this little ball! If you have back, neck and/or feet issues, you have to check this out! I love my BodyworksBall and you will too!

My husband and I have a “thumper” that works so well on our aches and pains, particularly on the back and legs. However, it is too big and heavy to take with us when we travel, and we travel a LOT. This sounds like it would be perfect for us.

I love working out knots with balls. I have several of the Yamuna balls and DVDs and love how they make me feel. Just takes some time to do regularly.

Oh this little ball sounds great. I to could use it for my back and feet. I hope it would work on knees too.
