Spring Gardening: Beautiful Rose Bushes

April 8, 2014 by Classystaff

I love roses. I have a few that I have in my front yard but I am no way an expert at growing them! I think they live despite my care. LOL One of my favorite ones are the mini rose bushes that I have long the walkway to my front door. They always bloom each spring and summer.

Gardening Rose Bushes in Bloom

They look so sweet with their tiny blooms. This one is a beautiful coral that I got as a housewarming gift when we bought our home almost 18 years ago. It was the first plant I added to my landscaping and it just blooms away happy as can be! This is a shot of the first blooms and buds of the season. I love it!

I too love roses, but I only have one bush that started by accident. Your coral roses are very beautiful.

Gorgeous! I wonder, though, how do they smell? I find that most of the roses in North America don’t have much of a perfume; the roses we have in our second home in Crete are not so lush, but they bloom most of the winter and they smell awesome!

Your roses look beautiful. Thank you for sharing this picture.
Our roses were the first to come back after this rough winter. One of them actually got healthier since apparently the frosts killed a fungus we had been fighting on the roses for years.

Beautiful! I love roses too:) We have 9 bushes that were here when we bought our house. We have one in the front that gets full sun all day and does really well. It always produces a lot of big pink flowers and they smell so nice. The ones in our backyard don’t do as well. I’ve been thinking about moving these ones to the front 🙂

What lovely little roses! Thanks for sharing, and for the glimpse into the future. Just today, I saw the tips of my chives coming through their winter covering of leaves. I’ve never been so happy to see a little bit of green.

I wish I could take credit for making them healthy and happy. They just get plenty of sun and water. I am terrible at feeding, etc. I have good intentions, but – you know! lol

They are sooo pretty – you must be pretty good at taking care of them, they are flourishing! What a nice housewarming gift – I would love to have roses!!!

I had so many lovely rose bushes I planted at my home in Colorado. They smelled so good and really were not that much work to take care of. The picture is lovely.

Daffodils are the only flowers blooming just yet. I did see a Forsythia bush blooming on Sunday. But I know it’s Spring officially since the ice cream truck came around today.
