Sunday was a special day and I spent several hours at church with my friend. We decided to sing some special songs for the Easter service and it was fun. One of the things that we do on Easter is decorate a cross that is made from wood and free standing with fresh flowers cut from the gardens of the parishioners. This year, since Easter was so late and our Spring has really kicked in, the cross was bursting full of amazing flowers and smelled heavenly! I thought that you would enjoy seeing it for our Wednesday post. Hope you enjoy it!

Such a lovely Easter cross, I love all the colors. Thanks for sharing.
That is so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
You truly made a beautiful cross for Easter. It was bursting with colors form all the flowers the parishioners gave you. I am sure it smelled “heavenly” too. This is such a nice tradition and thanks for sharing it with us.
Bursting with the beautiful colors of Spring flowers is right! I can only imagine how great that cross must have smelled and looked in person!
Lovely cross. The only flowering around here are the trees.
What a wonderful and beautiful tradition. I bet it sure smelled lovely. Nice to hear you had a wonderful Easter thanks so much for sharing.
How lovely! And what a nice tradition, too. Of course, I’m jealous of your flowers at this time of year; my chives are growing, but that’s about it so far–not even dandelions yet! Anyway, thanks for sharing.
That is a beautiful Easter cross. I love Easter and all the beautiful flowers and pictures of happy children on Easter egg hunts. Thank you for sharing
