Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules

I make it no secret, I am 46 years old and starting to see the signs of aging. I have some fine lines developing around my eyes, dark under eye circles and several light age spots. I don’t like it one bit!

Recently I was introduced to a new product called Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules made by Weleda. These new facial capsules are made with 100% natural ingredients with 90% of them being organic.

Weleda’s new Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules deliver intensive, revitalizing nutrients deep into the skin to soften fine lines, improve elasticity and to restore vitality. Providing luxurious, highly concentrated care to help stimulate skin renewal, each capsule contains powerful, nourishing ingredients to enhance skin’s overall texture and resilience for a more youthful glow. Yup, all of the things I need!Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules

These facial capsules are rich in organic, cold-pressed rosehip seed oil from Chile to effectively deliver vitamins A, C and E for a protective and restoring boost of antioxidants. Organic sweet almond oil from Spain nourishes skin with essential fatty acids to promote skin balance and health. The evening primrose has anti-inflammatory properties that soothes skin, alleviates dryness and improves skin elasticity.

To Use: Use one capsule every evening for four weeks, then use 1-2 capsules weekly. Open the capsule by twisting at the narrow part & gently pulling. Apply the oil in the evening after cleansing to a slightly damp face, neck and decolletage, massage in gently.

Tip: Wrapping face in a warm, damp cloth for a few minutes after applying the oil can increase the effectiveness of the treatment.

My Thoughts: Wow, where do I go with this one! I am very picky about what products I use on my face. I have extremely sensitive skin thanks to a medical condition that I suffer with called Porphyria. Harsh chemicals for me are definitely OUT!

I had never used facial capsules before but I have seen various ones out in the marketplace. One of the things I love about these is that they are very easy to use and one little capsule is enough to do your entire face and neck! A little bit goes a long way and they are pre-measured so you don’t have any waste.

The product has a nice consistency to it and once applied it didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy. It absorbed super quickly and I didn’t get any type of skin irritations with it at all. There is a very light fragrance to the product which I felt was very calming in nature. Nothing stinky or over-powering at all.

I have been using them every night for two weeks straight and LOVE them! I think they are perfect for use at home and I do a lot of traveling and they would be perfect for that too (less skincare products to carry with me).

Overall, I am really impressed with them and have seen a diminishing of my fine lines and my skin is a lot better moisturized right now. I am giving this product a big two-thumbs up!

I want to get the Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing facial capsules. They look great and look like they would really help me with my wrinkles. I need to use something stronger like this.

  2. I’ve tried facial caps before. Just have to use them before the oil gets too old. I tend to “save” them and should just enjoy and use them regularly. I’ll have to try them again.

I have never tried skin capsules , but after reading your review I think I shall give this one q try. I love the name “Wild Rose” and that it has a calming light fragrance.

Gotta try this. My skin is a mess, psoriasis, aging (sob)….all sorts of unattractive things. And even the name sounds great – “Wild Rose”. I also like these self-contained capsules – less chance for contamination. Thanks for the 411 !
