Lovely week on the blog and impressive lineup of reviews and giveaways as usual. We ended the week here in Southern California about an hour ago, with a roller of a quake, 5.1. I still will swap your wind Shelly for the scary quakes here. You never quite get used to them, but I’ll take a jolt rather than a roll, any day. Still queasy.

Once again I love the quote. It shows that an artist who depicted nature and his surroundings with slashes or spots of color also saw the beauty of different things. I shall have to read all the posts that I didn’t yet get a chance to peruse.
