For the past several years my husband and I have been trying to live a more eco-friendly life. This includes purchasing fair-trade products and items made from eco-friendly materials.
One of the materials we like to source out is Bamboo which is a renewable resource. These days you can find bed linens, bath towels, rugs, curtains, pillows, kitchen products, clothing and all kinds of other things made from bamboo.
Recently we were introduced to the online store called Ettitude which wells eco-friendly bamboo products. When you shop at Ettitude you can find women’s clothing, men’s clothing, socks, underwear, bed linens, bath lines and other eco-friendly gifts.
The company sent us a Men’s t-shirt to review for all of you and I have to admit, it is super soft….soft like a baby’s blanket! For our review we received the Bamboo Booyong Men’s Crew Neck T-Shirt in black. It comes in various other colors too. Regarding sizing, I would say true-to-size but if you like a loser fitting tee, you should size up on this one.
This is your classic styled crew neck t-shirt with short sleeves. It is made out of 95% Rayon made from Bamboo and 5% Spandex which gives it a nice stretch. It is machine wash, air dry. (do not bleach or tumble dry in the dryer).
We got this bamboo men’s t-shirt for my husband to model and review but for now, he won’t be posing in the picture. He fell off a ladder removing snow from our roof 2 weeks ago and currently in a back brace. Hence, he can’t get this t-shirt on him over the back brace! Sorry folks, no modeling today.
With that said, I can tell you that this is the softest t-shirt he has ever owned! In addition, I washed it on the gently cycle and then hung it up to dry. It didn’t get wrinkly at all, didn’t lose its shape and came out of the washer looking beautiful.
One of the things we both like about the t-shirt is that is a longer length, it is not a crop shirt and doesn’t ride up your back side. Always nice when it comes to men’s shirts! It is a really nice shirt and he is looking forward to wearing it this Spring & Summer once his back brace gets removed!
