Puritans Pride Products for Your Seasonal Allergies
I used to never have allergies. Note the use of the phrase USED TO. That is until I moved from the Bay Area of San Francisco to the Central Valley where it is fields and constant growing and harvesting. My head would pound and I would end up with sinus infections when the almonds bloomed and when they would harvest. Just like clockwork. I was miserable for years, with plenty of sinus headaches every day outside that time frame too. After 10 years or so, I finally acclimated and my issues have pretty much gone away. My son is a lot like me and suffers every time the almonds are in bloom and when they harvest in the fall. It is terrible. His have not dissipated much at all, poor guy.
Thankfully, there are products that can help alleviate the suffering and the more natural the products the better. Puritan’s Pride has been offering healthy choices for healthy living for years and I was happy to be able to try some of their products, just for these terrible seasonal allergies that will be cropping up soon. We were sent an assortment of Puritans Pride allergy products to share with you. We received:

With Spring almost here and the trees starting to bloom, my son started showing signs of illness just a few days ago. Within 1 day, he was stuffed up, had a sore throat and started feeling bad. I pulled out this box of goodies and work on doctoring him. As with any illness, I think you feel worse during the evening and night so I made him a cup of the Breathe Easy Tea each night before bed.
This tea is a blend of herbal teas and while it does have a bit of a bitter taste, I added some honey and lemon to it and had him sip it slowly. It soothed his throat and opened up his airways a bit. He hated drinking it, but said it did help. Before he went to sleep, I also had him rub some of the Eucalyptus Oil under his nose and a bit on his chest for easy breathing that night. The next morning he was stuffy but said he slept good.
With his nose stuffy, I had him try the Sinu Orega Nasal Spray to help flush out his sinuses. While the sensation of using nasal spray is not the greatest, the product did great with soothing his stuffy sinuses. It helped in opening him up a bit so he could breathe easier.
At the time of this writing, he had not had any bronchial issues so we were not able to try the ClearLungs Supplement and the Neti Pot was one that he did not try either. I have heard a lot of great things about using a Neti Pot but I was chicken to try it! I know they are great to use anytime for cleaning out mucus and soothing irritated nasal linings so maybe I will get the courage up to try it out.
I am glad that we had the opportunity to try some natural products this year with my son’s sinus issues. It is hard to find products that work like you think they will and it is expensive to try this or that too.
