Monster High – Frights, Camera, Action DVD

March 31, 2014 by Shelly

Monster High - Frights, Camera, Action DVDAs you all know, I have a little grand daughter who will be 5 years old next month. For the past 2 years, she has been a BIG fan of Monster High and has several DVDs and Monster High dolls.

A brand new DVD is being released called Monster High – Frights, Camera, Action! and we had a chance to review it for all of you. Here is some information about it.

Monster High™ Frights, Camera, Action! Available March 25th, 2014 It is available at Target, Amazon, Walmart and Toys R’ Us.

Synopsis: When Draculaura is led to believe she’s the rightful heir to the vampire throne, she and her best ghoulfriends are whisked away to Transylvania for a royal coronation to die for. But they soon discover the hunt for the queen is not over yet. The Ghouls must locate an ancient artifact known as the Vampire’s Heart in order to discover the identity of the true Vampire Queen. It’s a fangtastic adventure that will lead them from the Tower of Londoom, to a haunted river boat in New Goreleans and finally to the glamorous boo-vie lots of Hauntlywood. Could this be the moment when Draculaura finally receives her vampire powers and discovers screams really can come true?

Our Thoughts: When I was first introduced to Monster High 2 years ago I was a little worried that it would be too scary for a young child. After I sat down to watch that very first DVD I realized that there was nothing scary about it and that it was very entertaining. Princess Gia was immediately drawn to Monster High and loves it.

This new DVD has a very cute story line and the characters are adorable! One of the things the Princess loves about the Monster High series is the fashions that the girls wear. Yeah, she loves clothing & jewelry just like most little girls.

From beginning to end…this DVD has a lot to offer. It is a fantasy adventure…not a horror or scary flick for kids. Great story line, adorable characters and a lot of fun! A great one to pick up for those Easter baskets for sure!
