Our Thoughts: My grand daughter will be 5 years old in May. Even though she is a little girl, she loves Mike the Knight! Typically you think that this show draws in mainly little boys, but I know for a fact that little girls enjoy it too!
I sat down with my little grand daughter to watch a few of the episodes on the DVD. There are 6 of them in total plus 2 bonus music videos. Out of the 6 that we viewed, Gia’s favorite was the Jewel of Glendragon…that is the one she wanted to watch over and over.
All of the story lines are just great! They teach kids important lessons about asking for help, the importance of having help, having friends and some fun along the way on their various adventures.
As a grandparent, I appreciate quality educational entertainment like this as I do NOT let Gia watch junk on TV. Yes, I do monitor everything she watches in my home. Mike the Knight is a great educational children’s television series and it is really nice that you can get it on DVD too.
You can pick up this new DVD nationwide for around $6.99 which is really affordable for a kid’s DVD. A great time to pick it up and stuff it into those Easter baskets come April.
