Easter Theme’d Cupcakes Inspired by HERSHEY’S

Easter Theme'd Cupcakes Inspired by HERSHEY'SOver the past few weeks I have been sharing with you some Easter decorating ideas, craft projects and recipes that have all been sponsored by HERSHEY’S. Today, I have got to share with all of you these adorable Easter theme’d cupcakes that I made and you all can make them too!

Head on over to the Celebrate with HERSHEY’S web site to print out the recipe for the Easter Basket Cupcakes. Here are the variations that I made to their recipe.

1. I decided to not do the Easter basket and just did bird nests. So, I omitted the basket making steps.

2. I used just 3 tiny drops of green food coloring to color my shredded coconut flakes as I wanted it to resemble Easter grass.

3. I didn’t make cupcakes from scratch. I used a boxed white cake mix. I did make homemade cream cheese frosting and added 2 drops of green food coloring to my frosting recipe.

4. I used the HERSHEY’S mini robin eggs. On some of my cupcakes I used three and on some of them I used four. I think I like the look of four the best.

I think they are totally adorable! We will be attending a baby shower next month and the party host asked me to make them in a pink and white color scheme for the party, so I will be making another batch next month. They are really easy-to-make and the family loved them!

They also have edible easter grass, I seen it at walmart for easter. Love the robin eggs! Very cute recipe and the kids can help with this one. Very easy recipe!

the cupcakes are so cute, this is a great ideal for me and the grandchildren do together

  4. I love the birds’ nests idea with the green grass and robin eggs! I actually had many baby robins hatching near my window growing up and a baby robin we fed with dog food mixed with milk that had been abandoned. So I’m partial to nests to begin with, and I like the shortcut by using a box mix, too! so cute!

These are very cute and I agree that the 4 robin eggs topping looks the best, especially if you don’t use the twizzler handles. I think I would not use these handles with little children because they would try to pick them up by the handle. I would make some cocoa-based and some white cupcakes

These are so cute, I remember having something like this when I was a kid. Of course, then I didn’t like the coconut.
