Good morning everyone! Well, we all survived another brutal winter storm here in my neck of the woods. Hopefully this weekend hubby can work on cleaning up our property, hauling out the trees and making some repairs before the next snow storm arrives on Sunday.
Today’s Topic: How many of you are fans of the Winter Olympics? Do you have a favorite Olympic sport that you enjoy watching? What do you think about the venue being held in Sochi Russia this year?
Personally, I love sports and hubby and I are huge fans of both the Winter & Summer Olympics. We love to watch ice skating, snow boarding, skiing, etc. I am not “big” on the idea of it being held in Russia this year as I am not a fan of their President at all. He seems like a real crook and I just don’t like him.
I used to love the Olympics, back in the day when it was about amateur competition. Nowadays there’s nothing amateur about it, not even the pretense. Just look at the tennis and basketball competitors–they’re the highest-paid professionals in the world in their respective sports. I love sports (I’m watching golf right now), but I won’t be watching the Olympics.

I love the figure skating. felt really bad for the American guy that fell.
Yeah, Jeremy Abbott did terrible. He always lets the nerves get to him & this happens in all international big competitions that he competes in. Lets hope he gets it together for individual competition next week.
I absolutely love watching the olympics and have been looking forward to it for months. I don’t mind that they are being held in Russia as it has been a while for them, but I do not understand the choice of Sochi since it is so close to very unstable regions in that area.
I love watching the bobsledding events and the ice speed skating and ice hockey.
There is something to be said about an event that can only be won every four years!!

I am a fan of watching the Olympics. My favorite winter event is ice skating. I am hoping that having the Olympics in Russia will force the president to be more lenient on homosexuals and other things since the eyes of the world are upon that country.
