SunZone Natural Sunscreens For the Whole Family
Summer is just around the corner! With it, comes the sun, its heat, and its shine. If you’re from a sunny state like I am, (California) you might get some warmth and sunshine throughout most of the year. With that comes the need for some sunscreen! Actually, some people assume that sunscreen is only needed in sunshine. I even assumed that, but I actually learned that it should be used year-round! On cloudy days, UV (Ultra-violet) rays can actually be INTENSIFIED! Wow! I was always fooled by light breezes and the overcast sky. Temperature has nothing to do with it, and I am glad that I received many products from SunZone for review.
I was so excited to get so many goodies from SunZone Sunscreen! They are a new company with an impressive lineup of sunscreens for the whole family that contains natural ingredients such as Aloe, Vitamin E and Green Tea extract. They range from SPF 15 to SPF 60. Their product will be available on Amazon in early February and in stores across Canada in March. You can find them at sunzone.ca.
I was given five really good-sized sunscreen lotions (237mL each) and three clear sunscreen sprays (177mL each).
Each varied in types:
Out of the five lotions, at 60 SPF–
One for babies (very important their delicate skin is protected!)
One for kids (ages six and up)
One for the athletes (great for resisting the sweating)
One for the family in general
One for work or travel (great as my back-up in the car for my sudden adventures)
Out of the three sprays,
One for kids at 60 SPF(ages six and up)
One for the family at 30 SPF
One for the athlete at 45 SPF (my personal favorite!)’
SunZone even provides mini-spray sunscreens for even easier traveling! Great idea and much needed item that is often forgotten.
I don’t sunburn much. If I do, it’s actually on my nose and cheeks. Turns out, it helps that I have a little bit of darker skin than the fairest people of the land. But it only helps a tiny little bit. Regardless of the amount of melanin (the natural substance that gives color to skin), sun damage can harm all of us with sunburns, premature aging, and skin cancer. Most skin cancer is caused by damage from the sun’s UV rays (ultraviolet radiation). Skin cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis, and it’s the most preventable cancer. SunZone’s sunscreens protect against a broad spectrum of not only UVA, but also UVB.
Although I have enjoyed all the items, the clear sprays are very convenient. It goes on fast, clear, and dries quickly for an even spread. Each of SunZone’s sunscreens are very light, with no greasy feeling like other sunscreens out there. Why? Because they are oil-free and paraben free. They use a patented Oleosomes Technology, which means it comes from plant seeds. So it continues to benefit your skin by not only protecting it, but by also moisturizing it. The sunscreens are also very water resistant, for those swimmers or even on rainy days.
Like most sunscreens, reapply to correctly guard your skin. After some consistent use, I do feel like my skin feels fresher and healthier with SunZone. I’ve enjoyed using their sunscreens for my family and myself.
