SMB Essentials is a beauty company that I stumbled upon online a few weeks ago and was immediately drawn to them. The company has a passion for offering natural and organic products that are safe for all of us to use.
When you shop at their online store you will find natural cosmetics, skin care products, detox & weightloss products, healing baths, shaving essentials, hair care products and a lot more! This store is for both men and women who are looking for natural alternatives in the products that they use daily.
Several years ago I started using a mineral powder foundation which I just love. However, now that I am getting older and age spots are starting to come out, I was looking to try out a creme mineral foundation and found them at SMB Essentials.
I wasn’t sure about the shade selection so the company sent me 5 little pots of creme foundation to try out for all of you. I love sample pots like this because I can try them out and narrow down the perfect shade for my skin tone.
In addition, it is easy to mix-n-match the shades too! You might need one shade underneath your eyes and a slightly different shade on your cheeks and chin. Perfect if you ask me!
Creme Foundation Shades Received: #3, #4, #5, #6 and #7.
Now, my 28 year old daughter has a tan going on so the darker shades were perfect for her. She quickly ran off with the #6 and #7. They do go on a tad lighter than what the color shows in the pot. For myself, I found that the #3 shade was perfect for all over my face and I liked using the #4 shade underneath my eyes.
You can apply this creme mineral foundation with a foundation brush but I found it easier to just use my fingertips. It went on very light and creamy. There were no clumps or lumps in the product at all. A really nice consistency that gives me great coverage. In addition, I didn’t experience any acne breakouts from clogged pores, etc.
Overall, I am very impressed with this creme mineral foundation and going to make the switch from powder to creme. If in doubt on what shade you think you will need, I suggest ordering the small sample pots until you find the right shade for you. They are also great for travelers like myself who don’t want to carry full-size products around.

The raspberry firming peel sounded great! My skin in acne prone and it sounded like the peel really might help that. I’m definitely going to have to check more into the peel!
