Classic Children’s Books – Building a Child’s Library

February 27, 2014 by Shelly

inspiremeto childrens book http://www.inspiremeto.comGood morning! Happy Thursday, we are getting closer to the weekend and I am really happy about that! My sister is going to take the night shift for the next 3 nights so that I can stay home and not go in to sit with auntie. With that said, I will go in during the day for an hour or two but she will sit the 8 hours with her overnight.

Today’s Topic: I am trying to build the Princess a very nice book library. I am off to a great start and so far she has about 30 special books in her collection. I would like to get some children’s book recommendations from all of you, especially classic books that will be treasured for many years. What books do you recommend?

My kids loves the B Book by Dr. Seuss and Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree! They are both really great books! They were mine as a child so they are older but you can still find them!

I think it is great that you are beginning your little ones book collection, my granddaughters loved Curious George books when a lot younger, now they are into chapter, series books like Magic Treehouse books, they love them. And don’t forget the classics you may of read when a lot younger, like Hans Brinkler and the Silver Skates, and the Ugly Duckling..

    Congratulations to the 3 winners.
I am glad that your sister is going to take the night shift with auntie. You need to get some rest too.
For children’s books I would get all of the Dr.Seuss and I love The Little Prince.
