Good Morning Everyone! How was your weekend? Ours was busy (too busy) and on top of that I had to work! I am sick, really sick and have a lot of pain. Seeing the masterful doctor later this morning and hopefully she can get me fixed up as I am ready to pull my hair out from pain…lots of pain!
The United States is in a deep freeze…well, a lot of the U.S. is! Perhaps Chris is enjoying her pool again there in California but here in Pennsylvania…we had freezing rain and ice last night. Tonight here in PA. our low temps will be 0 and with wind chills it will be around -10 to -15 degrees. WTH? We usually do NOT get that cold here. I am really tired of this now and I want Spring to just get here! How is the weather where you are? Chilling? Sweaty? Ice Box?

I am sorry that you were in so much pain over the weekend and yesterday. I hope that after seeing the doctor you were able to manage it better.
I have the same cold that you have – so it is horrendous.
So sorry to hear that you are sick AND in pain! I hope you don’t have the flu. Dumba$$ hubby, who refuses to get a flu shot, is still getting over … drum roll .. the flu! Over 2 weeks now and he has been so sick and in pain too. It really sucks that you are going out in the cold to see the doctor on top of it. I am in NC and it so cold here! I hate it! My poor dog doesn’t want to go out in either. It takes longer for me to get us bundled up to go out than it does for her to do her business! Prayers are with you and a swift recovery.

Ah, we have the freeze today : -41C with the wind chill. Another spot colder than the surface of Mars. Yippee! But really, I cancelled 2 appointments today so I don’t have to walk from the subway to the offices. Brutal!

It is extremely cold here for us. I live in southeast Texas and we are supposed to have a low of 14 tonight. We actually turned on the heat, and have a fire going. I am so tired of winter.
I hope you are feeling better now. Maybe you’ve already seen the doctor and fingers crossed he/she helped you. Being sick is never fun, and this weather makes every pain hurt worse. We are freezing here. A friend even teased about seeing polar bears. Today is our coldest day, we are to hit zero. Our low was -10, and the wind chills are unreal. Schools were called off due to the temps actually. I’m ready for spring. It doesn’t help that it’s Monday, and it’s my late night to work. I hope your weather and health improves soon. Stay warm and inside as much as possible.

When I went to bed last night the wind chill was -24 degrees. Today it’s supposed to get up to a balmy 30 degrees and up to 50 by Thursday.
I am so sorry you’re in pain Shelly. I’m a nurse and wish we had more pain management techniques that helped. Distraction and plain old sleep helps me! Yay for the Deb day! I just love educational prizes and that’s a goodie. Sorry it is beautiful weather here (LA) again today. My folks are having bad weather in Ohio, and believe me I’ve paid my dues in Ohio and Colorado, but have to say I do not miss it a bit.
Ahhhhhhh yes that pool feels amazing especially since I kicked on the heater last night so it is nice and toasty today. Almost like a hot tub! Sorry you are not here to enjoy it. 🙁 Hope the doc works her magic!
It is 18 degrees where I am at, but so many people are in the deep freeze which is so dangerous! I am praying for all those people! I am sorry about being sick and having so much pain. I hope the doctor can help you out today! I can not wait for Spring, too!!
