Snow Day Activities – Boredom Busters!

Good Morning Everyone! How is everyone holding up in this deep freeze across the nation? My poor body is aching and hurting thanks to this severe cold weather. Today, I can barely move!

Today’s Topic: Many kids (and adults too!) are off again today thanks to the very cold temperatures, ice and/or snow. When the kids are off, how do you keep them occupied so they don’t get bored? When you are off for a snow day, how do you occupy yourself to beat the boredom of being cooped up inside? Let’s hear your ideas!

For myself…I love to bake and don’t get a lot of time to do it. One snow days I like to get into my kitchen and bake up some bread, cookies, cupcakes, pies, or even make a big pan of homemade fudge. When the Princess is around I get out a special box that has arts & craft supplies in it, 3 DVDs, a few travel-size games, etc. So, that box of goodies will occupy her all day long since she ONLY sees it during bad weather days. It is a “treat” for her!
