Slow Cooker Hearty Beef Stew Recipe

January 23, 2014 by Classystaff

My family loves beef stew, It is such a wholesome recipe and a great comfort food too. On a cold day, nothing beats warming up to a nice steaming bowl of stew. This recipe is perfect for the slow cooker and pretty easy to throw together the night before a busy day so it can cook all day long. I think you will like it!

Looking for a new slow cooker? I have three of them and use them all of the time. The last two that I got…I purchased from Amazon and love them!

Beef stew is so perfect for the cold winter day we have been experiencing. I am one of the few people who still does not have a slow cooker, but I love to watch the process of cooking and my dutch oven works perfectly

Beef stew is one of my favorite things to make in my slow cooker. I don’t think I’ve ever put tomatoes in my version, but I bet it adds a nice depth of flavor. Thanks for the idea!

Beef stew is perfect for these cold winter days/nights. Warming, filling, and comforting. I love doing it in the crock pot where the flavors simmer together all day and the tantalizing aroma fills the house. I can almost smell it now. 🙂 I haven’t used Kitchen Bouquet before but will have to try it.

Here’s one more great recipe that I have to try. I have not made this in a crock pot before but it sounds pretty easy. I am still a beginner at mastering the crock pot I guess I shouldn’t be so afraid of it. Thanks for sharing.
