Simply 7 Wholesome Snacks and Chips
Today I’d like to introduce you to a healthy, guilt-free little snack that I received for review from Simply7. Simply7 has created a variety of great-tasting, wholesome chips that are available in a variety of flavors and are made using natural ingredients that you can actually recognize and pronounce.
The Simply7 chips are made from gluten-free ingredients; they have no trans fats or cholesterol, no artificial colors or flavors, and no additives or preservatives. Plus they offer 40-50% less fat than regular potato chips. The best part in my opinion is that they actually taste good and they help satisfy the “craving for crunch” that I often get mid-way through the afternoon at the office. I can munch and crunch away without feeling the guilt! The chips are light and airy and are flavorful and unique. I had a hard time comparing it to any other type of snack I’ve had recently.
I received a variety of Simply7 snacks to try out including several flavors of the Hummus chips (Sea Salt, Spicy Chili Pepper, Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Basil), Lentil chips (Sea Salt, Creamy Dill, Jalapeno and Bruschetta) and Pomegranate chips (Sea Salt and Black Pepper). They were all very good. I’d have to say the Sea Salt varieties were probably my favorite and my husband’s favorite were the Spicy Chili Pepper Hummus chips and the Jalapeno Lentil chips. He tends to like things a bit spicy and I prefer a milder chip, so we had a perfect assortment! I even packed a few bags and took them to my son’s baseball tryout. He was hungry afterward and tried some of the chips as well. He thought they were tasty and said he wanted me to bring them to all of his games. Yes! A new healthy snack that my son likes—a definite score for mom!
What I really love is that if you read the Simply7 snack labels, there are only a handful of ingredients used to make the chips and none of the ingredients printed on the labels are unrecognizable or hard-to-pronounce.
Simply7 snacks are available at grocery stores throughout the country and it looks like they are continually rolling out new flavor varieties and new chip varieties.
