Natural Mineral Cosmetics from Cowgirl Dirt

For the past few years I have been converting my cosmetics and skin care products over to more natural formulations. After all, we all know that chemicals are not good for our skin.

Recently I learned about a company called Cowgirl Dirt who makes a line of natural mineral cosmetics. When you shop at their online store you will find loose mineral foundations, pressed powder foundations, finishing powders, mineral blush, concealer, organic facial serum, mineral eye shadows, natural mascara, lip gloss & tints, lip liner pencils, whipped body butter and so much more!

For my review I received a complimentary Lash ‘Em Up Mascara in the color black to review for all of you. If you prefer a dark brown mascara, they carry that color too!

This is an all-natural mascara that contains no harmful chemicals. It is not a waterproof mascara and is the type of mascara I enjoy wearing the majority of the time.

One of the things I love about this mascara besides it being natural is that it comes with a straight brush. I am not fond of those fancy curled brushes which don’t work for my eyelashes. Second, there is NO clumping to this formula. I have been using it for over 2 weeks now and not a single clump! Next, during the daytime I use just one coat and get plenty of coverage. When I go out to run errands or on a date with the hubby, then I apply two coats for a more dramatic look.

I have used natural mascaras before but let me be honest with all of you. None of those other ones gave me the coverage that I get with this one and I am loving the no clump factor! Yay!!! I am giving it 9 1/2 stars out of 10 stars. I would love to see this mascara in some funky colors like a dark navy blue, dark green or a dark purple in the future.

    I am all about concealers and I would love to try theirs, I have a difficult time finding ones that are not too obvious

    I want concealer, pressed foundation, & finishing powder. It’s very hard to find a concealer with good ingredients in my area.
