Gourmet Tea from Coffee Bean Direct

January 8, 2014 by Shelly

Gourmet Tea from Coffee Bean DirectCoffee Bean Direct is a company that sells high-quality gourmet coffee and tea products. The company is based out of the great state of New Jersey and carries over 100 varieties of coffee and over 70 varieties of tea.

All of the coffees and teas that Coffee Bean Direct sells are all hand blended, flavored and packaged by hand. They are independently owned, operated and everything is done in-house!

I have been blessed in the past to review several of their great gourmet coffees and this time around I get to review some gourmet loose leaf tea along with a tea infuser.

January is National Hot Tea Month so for my review I received a 5 oz. bag of the Tattle Tea Ginger Peach White Loose Leaf Tea and a ForLife Hook Handle Tea Infuser and Dish Set.

Gourmet Tea from Coffee Bean Direct

The Ginger Peach White Loose Leaf Tea is absolutely delicious and one of the best gourmet teas I have ever had! You simply measure out 1 to 2 teaspoons per cup, depending on how strong you like it. For my preference, I used 1 1/2 teaspoons which was perfect for me.

You hook the infuser onto your cup and then add the desired amount of tea into the infuser. Gently pour hot water over the tea, all it to steep for a few minutes, remove the infuser and enjoy!

This tea is naturally sweet so I didn’t have to add any sweetener to it at all. I love the light ginger peach flavor which is the perfect blend of peaches and ginger. There is nothing bitter about this loose leaf tea at all! Nothing…it is perfection in a bag!

My mother and I enjoyed most of this tea hot…however, we did brew some of it over ice and turned it into a refreshing iced tea too! If you are an iced tea drinker and not much of a hot tea drinker…this tea is for you too! Just brew it and then pour it into a glass filled with ice. Delicious!
