Good Morning Everyone! Hubby and I enjoyed a cold but beautiful sunrise together this morning! We hopped outside onto our deck in our thick robes & enjoyed a cup of coffee together as the sun came up! Those types of special moments together are just priceless!
Today’s Topic: Today we would like to know which room in your house or apartment is your favorite? Why is it your favorite room in your home?
My favorite room right now (we are still remodeling our home) happens to be my master bedroom. It is quite large and has been fully gutted & remodeled in a relaxing beach & coastal theme. I love sitting in my bedroom as it reminds me of our beach house at the shore. I also love that I have a newly remodeled master bath connected to my bedroom which is also in a coastal beach theme.
We will be starting our official living room next month and predict it will take 3 weeks to just gut it out! We have to tear out everything, the walls, floor, ceiling and windows. Sigh! I am hoping within a few months that it will become my favorite room…we will have to see!
I guess that my favorite room would be the living room because we can relax in it separately or together, listen to music , watch TV and/ or read and when family comes over that is where wcongregate.
A belated congratulations to the winners
I have to say the living room because it’s a family room. It has nothing to do with the decor or style. We haven’t had much luck with the carpet we redid back 12 years ago. It pills up to this day and hasn’t worn like we thought it would. Our couch and love seat isn’t that comfortable, but it’s where we all come together. We can eat, watch movies, get excited over football, or just talk. I hope to see photos of yours as you go through the process. Good luck to you!
My favorite room is also our master bedroom. We painted it about a year ago, bought new curtains a while back and hung nice floral pictures. We also won a recliner last september which is in the master and a new solid wood dresser which really made the room nice.
Our house is really a little too big for us, so we are in the master a lot because it is easier and cheaper to regulate the temperature in one room (using fans and spaceheaters) than the whole house.
First let me say Congrats to the winners! My fave room in the house is my bedroom. If it had a microwave and fridge I might never leave it! I love it.
Nice to hear about your master bedroom being remodeled. It sounds like a nice place to be.I like my bedroom the best because it is such a nice place to read my magazines and sit and listen to music. I really have a lot of relaxing times in my bedroom.
I like my son’s playroom the best. It’s a loft!
