Good Morning Everyone! Wow, we are now halfway through January! It seems like we just celebrated Christmas last week but wow…January is moving right along. I am glad it is going by quickly because I am ready for Spring to get here!
Today’s Topic: How many of our readers are crafty? What kinds of crafts do you enjoy making? How long have you been expressing your creativity through crafting?
I have been making various crafts since I was 15 years old. I dabble in all kinds of areas: quilting, painting, scrapbook making, cardmaking, crochet, cross stitch, etc. If I had to pick my two favorites it would be: Scrapbooking and Cross stitching for sure!
Im crafty…I like making things – mostly papercraft type of things. I also participate in Artist Trading Card swaps….try to make a new wreath every Christmas.
Congratulations to the 2 winners.
I used to do more crafts when I was younger: sewing , painting, making jewelry, some crocheting, but nowadays I usually just stick to baking and some sewing alterations.
I am a reformed crafter. Moving to a smaller place, you just have to let some of that go. I love to sew and kept all my quilting things. That’s expensive to replace and I can do that when I get older. I like crochet and knitting too. My Pinterest boards are full of things but I try to keep it more to crochet and sewing these days.
Congratulations Winners! Happy Wednesday!
I am not a crafty person but want to be. I have tried my hand at a few small sewing projects but can’t seem to get it. My mother has done crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She enjoys making quillows for all of the kids and grandkids. One year she made my daughter a cat afghan that was black and white with lots of little cats making it up. She swore to never do it again…it took forever and was very intensive.
