Good morning everyone! TGIF! OMG…I am so swamped right now with work it isn’t funny. I was doing a great job of keeping up and even though I was busy all week, yesterday I got slammed with additional work. Today I am on a mission to get all caught up again.
Today’s Topic: How many of you love displaying photographs all throughout your home? I am a big time scrapbooker so I am always taking a slew of photographs. In addition, I have photos of our family in most rooms in our home. I take complete advantage of displaying them in both large hallways in our home on the walls and then in various picture frames in our bedrooms, family room and living room. How do you like to display photos of your loved ones in your home?
A few weeks ago I went into A.C. Moore’s and they were having a big sale on white or black wood photo shadow boxes. They were on sale for $5.00 a piece. I quickly snatched up 6 of them and even saved an additional 10% at the register with a coupon that I had. I took down all of my mis-matched shadow boxes and put the photos into the new ones. I arranged 3 together in one hallway and 3 together in my other hallway. They turned out super nicely and didn’t cost me a boat-load of money! Less than $15.00 per arrangement. (see photo above).

You were definitely lucky to snatch up the photo shadow boxes at that low price. The arrangement you displayed above looks very nice. We don’t display a lot of photos. I have them in scrapbooks and photo albums, but when both mothers died within a week of each other I went through my old photos and made a collage of them to display on the mantelpiece.
What a wonderful display! Photos just add that warm and homey feel. They make you smile as you walk by and just brighten a room. I love displaying photos on my mantle and down the hall.
I love the arrangements you made. And what a great price!
We have a picture wall of 8×10 nature shots in out hallway and several other pictures framed around the house.
Congrats to the winners.
I have a hard time trying to display pictures in my home that look nice. You did a good job with arranging your photos. I will have to see about doing this to my pictures.
