Your Favorite Christmas Decorating Theme

December 13, 2013 by Shelly

redholidaytreeGood morning everyone! Happy Friday! We have to get through today and then the weekend is here! I wish I could say that nothing was going on this weekend and I could be lazy…but that is a lie! I have a few local reviews to do and I have to go into the nursing home to deal with an issue with the staff regarding my auntie.

Today’s Topic: When it comes to your holiday decorating do you tend to decorate in a theme? My holiday decorating theme is mainly a coastal cottage theme. However, I do have 2 rooms decorated in a blue, white & silver snowman & snowflake theme which looks really pretty. My mother decorates her home in an Old World Santa theme for the holidays and my BFF does a Penguin theme. So, do you have a holiday decorating theme?

For years, at least 20 years, I used to have enough ornaments and such to rotate themes every years. Snowmen, Santa, Angels, Blue and Silver, etc. About 5 years ago it just got to be too much due to my health so I started paring down until now I do red and white with some silver.
I like the sound of yours though ~ would love some pics!

    Congrats to the winners1

We have a theme per room…Santa in the dining room, kitchen stuff in the kitchen, a snowman themed room, etc. It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of work!

    Congratulations to the 3 winners.
We do not have any them. It is just regular Christmas items, mostly red and green and a nativity scene.
