Earlier this month my husband took the princess out for a Pappy & Grand Daughter date. He took her to the movie theater to see the movie “Frozen” and they had a great time! They go on these movie dates about once every 6 weeks or so.
After the movie he took her to see Santa Claus at the local mall. Unlike some children, she has never been afraid of Santa and has always enjoyed visiting with him.
This year she told him she wants for Christmas: Barbie Dolls, My Little Pony, Pinypon Play Sets, Real Horse, Bean Bag Chair, Desk & Chair, New Clothes and a few other things. She knew what she wanted and she rattled off her “Wish List” pretty quickly to him from what I am told.
How much you want to bet that “Santa” brings most of what she ask for? Yup, that’s right…we spoil our little grand daughter! However, I don’t see a real horse in her very near future! hahaha!

Your granddaughter looks adorable and very happy in this photo. I think it is very important for each grandparent and parent also to have separate outings with a child. The one on one time is so important to the child’s self esteem.
