Christmas is almost here but you still have time to get one last gift for the little one’s on your holiday list. Giving a child a book opens up a whole new magical world to them and their little imaginations. Teaching children at a very young age to love books helps them to excel at reading and creativity as they grow.
Our princess is now 4 1/2 years old and she owns over 100 books in her library collection. I purchase a new book for her several times a month. I treasure sitting down with Miss Gia and reading a good book with her and she loves that one-on-one time that I give to her.

She is mother of two children, who constantly give her many ideas for her stories. Jennifer was inspired to write Santa’s Happy List based on a comment made by her son when he was 5 years old. His comment was “Mummy I only want one present for Christmas, I don’t think Santa would be happy if I asked for too much as it is a lot of work to make all those toys.”

I’m a librarian, and books are so important to everyone. I brought my children up thinking of books as gifts and to want and appreciate them. We were always waiting for the newest Berenstain Bear book to come out to read it together. I have continued this with my grandkids. I buy them books often. My grandson has our love of reading and devours everything he can get his hands on. Our family also adopts kids at Christmas to buy for. I have always believed you should give each one some chocolate and a book. Those two things can make the day a lot brighter. 🙂
Reading is so important for children, and this looks like a lovely book to share with them.
