Good morning everyone! Friday has arrived and another weekend is upon us! I am hoping for some R&R this weekend as I have a super busy holiday week ahead of me with some local reviews. I gave myself a one week vacation-break from them so I could enjoy some holiday time with my family. Back to work come Monday.
Christmas is over and we hope you all had a great holiday with your families. Today…we want to hear about those holiday gifts! That’s right, its your time to brag about what you got underneath that Christmas tree! Tell us all about it!
I got a lot of great gifts this year but my favorite gift was one that was FREE. Last year I spent 5 weeks in the hospital and those 5 weeks were over Christmas. This year…I wasn’t in there and I got to spend the day with my family. Specifically, my grand daughter the Princess! Priceless!!! Next to that, hubby had 3 of my diamonds reset into a new ring setting for me and I LOVE it. I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead and I got all kinds of Walking Dead goodies underneath my tree! So, tell us about your goodies!!!
Congratulations! My heart warmed and melted when I read about your favorite gift. My daughter had to spend 6 weeks in the hospital coming up on 2 years. It was just after Christmas, but we still pray and thank God she’s out and we are all together. We fell very blessed. Hug your family, surround yourself in Walking Dead, and plays games with the princess. Have a wonderful day!
Congrats to the winners. I love what you said about your hospital stay. As a nurse, I do understand! Our family doesn’t exchange material gifts, which is refreshing. It helps me focus on what the celebration really is about.
I got to spend my first Christmas living with my boyfriend, so we got to start all new traditions which was really fun. Also, my mother had to spend last Christmas abroad and the family was not tagether for the holidays and it was quite awful. This year we got to have everyone together.
Also: my boyfriend got me a beautiful Amber bracelet which I love.

I was too till to spend the day with my family last year due to an ongoing battle with my Lupus so you are right, that is the BEST gift of all this year. So very glad that you had this gift! My fave gift was a charm and shoes my son gave me.

I had two Christmases: one with family and one with friends. Both were lots of fun and lots of good food. My friend has 2 grandchildren (5 & 8) and a great grandson age 3. The kids got lots of presents but I was tickled that the 2 older ones couldn’t stop playing with the Shoulder Buddies I got them.
Although it was a sad Christmas for our family without our grandmother and my Mom’s husband we did spend some time reminiscing about how much fun we had at the many holidays we did have with them. That made it a special Christmas for us, regardless of the material gifts.

One does not realize how precious the gift of good health is until a problem forces you to miss a special event like Christmas.. This year my 2 favorite gifts were a Thermoworks Thermoscan and a Sherpa heated throw.
