Good morning everyone! Snow and Ice is in the air…we are getting hit again today and it is snowing once again! Boo! The only time I want to see snow is on Christmas Day and then I want to be done with it until next year.
For those of you who put up Christmas Trees or a Holiday Tree…do you have any favorite ornaments that you love? Is it an ornament from yesteryear or something more modern? Why is that ornament(s) special to you?
Every year it seems that I change my mind on what my favorite ornament is on one of my trees but this year…I think it is my old world style glass turquoise seahorse. Hubby bought it for me 2 years ago when we were down at the beach house and I just LOVE that ornament!

I love your turquoise glass seahorse ornament. We don’t have any favorite ornaments.
My all-time favorite ornament used to a poinsettia I made in kindergarten out of egg carton, pain and glitter. Unfortunately, a few years ago one of my young nieces stepped on it by mistake and my Mom and I were so sad. Now my favorite is a set of birds that look like real birds (feathers and all, same size) that I put in the tree. I so love their natural look.
Thats a really pretty ornament…I think my favorite ornament currently are my silver reindeers.
I don’t put up a Christmas tree, but I do have a favorite ornament. It’s a beautiful faux-ivory circle, mounted in gold, with a chickadee on a pine branch carved into it, hanging on a red satin ribbon. I love it so much that it hangs over my kitchen sink year-round.

I have a turtle dove ornament that my husband gave to me the first Christmas we started dating over 30 years ago. It is without a doubt my favorite!
