I love that this sugar cookie is a drop cookie – no chilling first and no rolling. This then is such an easy recipe and homemade cookies always taste the best.

It’s great to have a good sugar cookie recipe. They’re classic and homemade is the best. Plus, the dough can be very versatile. It’s fun to mold sugar cookie dough around a rolo, Hershey’s Kiss, or mini candy bar. They are great to make with kids to cut into shapes and decorate. Hope you get to do this with your granddaughter.

I love sugar cookies, we all do. But most recipes for them requires chilling and then rolling out the dough. Something I just cannot get into doing. Love this one though, no rolling required! It reminds me of one my grandmother used to make. Yummy.

If the picture is of cookies made with this recipe, it looks like you dusted them with sugar at some point. Before or after baking?

I also like drop sugar cookies and I’m not entirely sure where my rolling pin is at the moment either! I haven’t had any Christmas cookies yet so must indulge!
