When people think of the online store called Calendars.com many people think that they just carry calendars! Well, today I am here to tell you all about some of the other items that they sell.
With the holidays just around the corner a shopping trip to Calendars.com is just what we all need. The company sells board games, card games, books, calendars, puzzles and other types of holiday gifts too!
For our review we received the hilarious high-speed charades game called Guesstures! This game is for ages 8 and up and for 4 or more players. It includes the “Best Performance Trophy”, the card-munching action timer, 378 cards, a label sheet and a rules sheet. It includes everything you need for family game night fun! This game is made my Parker Brothers.
Object of the Game: Pop four cards into the action-timer, then set it and start acting fast! The words may look easy, but you only have a few seconds to get your team to guess each one, then grab the card out of the slot before it suddenly drops out of reach. Can your team guess and grab enough cards to win the Best Performance Trophy?
Our Thoughts: We hold a family game night once a month and invite over our grand daughter, god son and my two nephews. We have been doing these family game nights for several years. My little grand daughter is really too young for this game so my job was to occupy her while the rest of the family played.
We got the game out and set it up on the floor since that is where the kids like to play their games. Hubby read the rules to them and made sure they all understood how to play. There was a total of 4 players and they all got busy playing the game.
One of the things everyone loved about the game is that it is “fast paced” so there is no boring downtime while waiting for other players to take their turns. You play the game as teams and not as individual players which is really great!
The boys spent an hour playing this last weekend and they LOVED it! I could hear them laughing and teasing one another as each round was in progress. You could tell they were really enjoying themselves! It is definitely that type of game that gets them off the sofa, out of a chair and onto their feet. Great for a little physical activity.
You can set up the length of time that you want to play. If you only have 30 minutes to spare…then play for 30 minutes…if you have an entire evening, go for it! It is also compact enough that you can pack the game for trips to grandma’s house or for traveling which is an added bonus!
Next weekend hubby and I are having a group of adult friends over for a game night & drinks. This will be one of the games we will be playing and everyone is looking forward to it!
Head on over to Calendars and take a look around. They have great holiday gifts or gifts that you can pick up any time of the year for just about any occasion. We give this game a huge 2-thumbs up and it’s very fun to play!

I have never heard of this game, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun. I like that you can set the time for what time is available and have different levels of difficulty. It is nice to have a game that can work for both children and adults.
I love family game nights, and there are so many fun games to play. This one sounds like a winner! Next time you will have to play and video tape it. 🙂
I just learned that calendars.com sells games. They were having a big sale, and my daughter looked into it. I bought two fun party games for friends and a Trouble for my grandson. Big help with my Christmas shopping, and I was already buying calendars anyway so I scored free shipping, too.
That sounds like a really fun game! We host game nights every now and then and geusstures sounds like it could be a great addition to our collection. Thank you for the review.
