Travel Neck Pillow from Sunshine Pillows

Today I would like to introduce you to the online store called Sunshine Pillows who sells a wide variety of ergonomic pillows, travel pillows, microwaveable heating packs and cold packs.

In the past I have had the pleasure of reviewing several products from Sunshine Pillows and today we are reviewing the Lavender-Scented Neck Heating Wrap in a fun leopard print for all of you.

This fun & practical microwaveable heating wrap comes in some really cute designs and it measures 12″ by 12″ by 2″ in size. It can be used for hot or cold therapy.

Instructions: Microwave for 1.5 minutes, then at 10 second increments until at desired temperature or freeze for 60 minutes. Do not overheat!

This neck wrap is reusable, washable and has a super soft fleece cover that helps to retain the heat or cold.  It has a really nice aroma (lavender) that you can smell as soon as you open the package and the lavender has properties to help relax you, calm you and for some people, it helps you to sleep better.

My daughter works in an office environment and often gets headaches from working on the computer all day long. With her headaches she gets a stiff neck, pain in her shoulders and an upset tummy. She came over a few days ago and I immediately heated up the neck heating wrap (in my microwave) and she sat still for about 10 minutes and was getting relief from it.

Since this item is portable…it is great to take when you travel, to your office place or use it at home. Daughter loved this neck heating wrap so much that she snagged it from me and keeps it at work.

We now have two of these microwaveable heat wraps and one is totally mine! For the past few days I have been using mine like crazy since I am a chronic migraine sufferer. I heat it up in the microwave and place it onto my shoulders. It does a great job at helping me to relax and I can honestly say it helps with the pain. I also get a lot of sinus infections & pressure from that and yesterday I laid it across my face for several minutes and the warmth opened my sinus’ right up! Yay!

In addition, my great auntie lives in a nursing home. They are NOT allowed conventional heating pads but they are allowed these microwaveable ones. So, if you have a family member who is elderly or living in a nursing home, this would make a Fabulous gift!

    The first page item caught my eye. Didn’t have to go any further. I would love to own the traveling pillow. My shoulders and neck always feel uncomfortable when I am in the car… The Ergonomic U-Shaped Travel Neck Pillow would be Heaven sent for me!!

    Both my Honey/Hubby and me suffer from (chronic AND acute) neck and shoulder pain and we are always looking for non-pharmaceutical remedies and ways to ease the discomfort…and Sunshine Pillows looks like it has some promising solutions. I’d especially like to try the sunshine-pillows.com/chironeck_pillows.php (I especially like it in Navy Blue – Green is nice too)
