Thomas & Friends: Trackmaster Motorized Railway Castle Quest Set

Thomas & Friends: Trackmaster Motorized Railway Castle Quest Set

Today we have another holiday gift guide selection and this Thomas & Friends: Trackmaster Motorized Railway ~ Castle Quest Set is from Fisher-Price. This Thomas the Tank Engine play set would make the perfect holiday gift for any little boy on your holiday gift-giving list.

The Story: Thomas is on a quest for the missing king’s crown! Can he navigate the crumbling castle grounds and emerge victorious with the prize? Thomas must get through five close calls before he can succeed. Use the crane to swing the missing track in place. Thomas powers along as walls collapse around him. Chug him through the castle before the gate drops down. Can you send him over the abandoned mine safely and help him recover the king’s crown?

This train set is made for ages 3 years and up. There are small pieces that can pose a choking hazard so make sure you stay within the recommended age restrictions. The set requires 1 AA battery that you will need to provide and adult assembly is required.

The Thomas & Friends Castle Quest Set comes with everything your child needs for a fun time including: the train track pieces, the castle, the crane, a cargo car, the king’s crown, bridge pieces, etc. Seriously you don’t need to supply anything but the one required battery to make the train move.

Hubby sat down and had the entire train & castle set assembled in about 15 minutes time (he is kind of slow you know!). Once he was done assembling it he showed my 4 1/2 year old grand daughter and 6 1/2 year old god son how to play with it. He showed them how the crane worked, the collapsible bridge walls and how Thomas drops down through the castle and comes out the other end.

The kids then sat and played with this entire set on day one for over 2 1/2 hours nonstop! They had a blast with this play set and the following weekend when they came over for a play visit…they had it out on my family room floor playing with it again. It has become a big hit in this household!

The play set is extremely well-made and they thought of everything! It definitely lives up to the quality standards that you expect from Fisher-Price! Once the kids are done playing with it just take it apart and place it back into the storage box for the next time.

You can find this play set right now at Fisher-Price.com for the suggested retail price of only $60.00 and I feel it is well worth that price. It will give your children hours upon hours of fun and should last them a very long time. A great toy for anyone who loves Thomas the Tank Engine!
