Practical and Attractive Hospital Gowns from PatientStyle

Practical and Attractive Hospital Gowns from PatientStyle

I am chronically ill and have been ill since I was 18 months old. I am now 46 years old and suffer with several diseases and ailments. Over the years I have been in the hospital 40+ times, so when it comes to practical, functional and attractive hospital gowns…I know my stuff!

Let me introduce you to PatientStyle where you can find wonderful hospital gowns for adults and for children. This company sells all kinds of different hospital gowns, some that are perfect for the regular patient, some are perfect for those who have IV mediports (like me) and some are perfect for those who are nursing.

Practical and Attractive Hospital Gowns from PatientStyle

One of the things I like about this company is that they have a different style gown for whatever your medical needs may be. You can find hospital gowns that tie, some that snap, others made specifically for those with an IV, modesty gowns, mammography tops, etc. They even carry anti-microbial slipper socks!

The company sent me two different hospital gowns for this review along with a pink pair of anti-microbial socks. First up, the IV hospital gown which is made out of a cotton & polyester knit blend. This fabrication is super soft and the gown can be worn by a male or female. It has a nice length to it to keep your legs covered, elbow length sleeves, two ties around the back to fasten it and there is a small slot on the upper chest of the gown for IV access. If you have an implanted IV mediport like me, this slot is essential for IV access to get to our mediports.

Pink Mammography Top

The second gown is really what they call a mammography top, although you can use it as a gown too. It’s a shorter length, made out of a blend of cotton & polyester (super soft) and this one wraps around the front to offer modesty during a mammography. As a mediport patient, this one is of great benefit to me too since my port sits in my right upper chest.

Both of these items have been tested in a commercial laundry facility to last for over 100 washes! That’s right, these are not cheapo gowns that fall apart and pill up after three wash cycles. The Mammography Top is currently on sale for $29.99 and the IV hospital gown is currently on sale for $32.00. Even if you are not a medical patient yourself, these items make great gifts for loved ones. I need to pick up a few for my great auntie who lives in an assisted living facility. She hates their gowns as they are always rough against her skin and they are not modesty type of gowns.

Anti-Microbial Socks

The company also sent me a pink pair of their anti-microbial socks to review for all of you. Oh My Gosh…I fell in-love with these as soon as I put them on my feet. They are the SOFTEST socks I have ever felt! On their soles they have anti-skid that you can barely see since it’s clear. I like that you can’t tell they are anti-skid socks since it’s clear so you can wear them every day! I need a blanket made out of this fabrication because they are seriously SOFT!

Head on over to PatientStyle and take a look around. I think you will be very pleased with their selection. Remember, even if you have no need for these products, I am sure that you know someone who does!

I have had Lupus and numerous other ailments thanks to it, for over 30 years. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. To have a nightgown that isn’t constantly falling off my shoulders would be so nice! When in the hospital, the last thing I want to worry about is whether or not my breasts are hanging out! Thanks for the heads up about this company.

Although I’m sorry to hear of your lifelong struggle with chronic illness, I must commend you on the positive spirit with which you deal with it. I understand how important personal medical supplies can be and what a difference they make in one’s day-to-day life. When I was the caregiver for my mother during her last years, we rejoiced when we found items as well-thought-out and useful as these hospital gowns. Thanks for the review–I’ve bookmarked the site for my own use as my own health situation develops.

I am sad to know that there is such a need for products like this, but it is good to know that they are available to make a sad situation a bit more comfortable. And even though I am not a regular hospital visitor, I’d loe a pair or two of the hospital socks – they’d be great for overnight flights!

I have a friend going in for back surgery later this month. This would be a great gift for her. Thanks.

I didn’t realize their was a company out here like this, but I’m glad. I’m sorry to hear about all your illnesses. I will pray for you and your family. My daughter was in the hospital a year ago. She was small already and lost a lot of weight. The hospital gowns would fall off her, but she was in too critical of condition to wear her own clothes. It would have been nice to have some choices on styles. This would also help for people who have to be in the hospital a lot. I hope they get some fun designs…anything to try to brighten the day.

first let me say how sorry i am to hear that you are having to deal with illnesses! i truly wish you the best in medical care and well being! the gowns sounds wonderful (those in the hospital are flimsy and uncomfortable.) i also really like the socks. while so far i have only been hospitalized overnight once, the socks they gave me were so uncomfortable, very scratchy and when you are not feeling well you appreciate even the smallest of comforts. but i dont have to tell you that. i wish you all the best!

These gowns are so great! I am so happy to finally see a company making modest, easy to access, and comfortable gowns. I am a nurse and I know how much of a pain the regular gowns can be for patients who are in the hospital often or for prolonged periods of time, it is just really nice to see a company make good quality, nice gowns!

I have never understood why hospitals can’t have better fitting gowns. I am glad that you have found this site to obtain nicer gowns for yourself and others when you or they require them. Those socks sound wonderful and might be just what I need for my husband.

I like these comfortable and attractive Hospital gowns. I am sorry to hear that you have had a chronic illness all your life. I will pray for you. I like to wear nice comfortable clothes and pajamas, and I think that my sister could really use one of these gowns.
