I love lazy weekends, don’t you? Sundays are my favorite time to laze around and just relax from the crazy week that has past. It also allows me to clear my mind and get ready for the new week that is coming. One of my favorite things to do on a lazy Sunday is watch old movies or sappy movies on Hallmark Channel or Lifetime – whoever has something good on.
Yesterday was a classic lazy day and I spend most of the day watching the Christmas movies on Hallmark! They always start the first weekend in November and every Saturday and Sunday you can catch all of the sappy, feel good movies you can handle! LOL Okay, I do confess that I did watch some football and highlighted my hair as well yesterday. I did need a break from all of the romance! 🙂 But it is fun!
What is your favorite thing to do on a lazy weekend?
Well, we do have a few winners today! The Teach My Preschooler and the Barney 3 pack of movies closed last night. I better get to it and let you know who are the lucky ones!
Winner for Teach my Preschooler is: courtney b
Winner for the Barney Set is: Shelley P
Congrats to our winners today and thanks to all of you that enter with us. We appreciate you all! Enjoy your day!
I love lazy Sundays! Gives me time to catch up on things I need to do, read email, clip coupons and check the new sales for the week 🙂
We are so very lazy on Sundays. We will usually have football on unless we are not getting any good games that day. We will live off leftovers or very simple meals and just enjoy each others company. I may tend to some laundryand if out lazy ways leave us feeling restless we may go on a bike ride.
LOL I watched the Hallmark channel this weekend too! I just love Christmas and I find most of their movies to be heartwarming, though some of them are so bad in the acting department that I simply can;t watch! I have a terrible time adjusting to the time change and cold weather so I most definitely spent my weekend being lazy!
Lazy weekends are amazing! I love unwinding after a long weekend by spending Sunday in my pj’s mostly and just being with the family. Yesterday was my birthday actually, and I chose to have a low-key, quiet day. My daughter made me breakfast, and my husband brought home my favorite pizza for dinner. We watched football, and I caught up on some reading. It was great! Glad that you had a good time, too…Christmas movies are always welcome.
Happy Birthday Sherry! Glad you had a great day! Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate!
Lacy Sundays are the best I too love to watch movies on a rainy Fall Sunday. I try to catch up on the new releases are are out. The weekends are just never long enough though hope you have a great week and thank you for all of your hard work this is the best blog ever.
I agree about the feel-good movies. I look for a good old classic black and white movie too….maybe bogart/bacall or a thin man. They’re fun for me to see the styles/clothes/cars etc. from an earlier time.
My biggest Sunday rule is – I don’t cook. I either cook the day before, or get carry out (usually Chinese food or BBQ)….that makes it a true lazy day for me.
I like all the old Hallmark movies and Countdown to Christmas movies too. On a lazy Sunday I’d enjoy that or reading a book or if the weather is nice, walking outdoors.
My favorite thing to do is get some hot chocolate, turn on the fire and enter a few contests.
I like Lazy Weekends too. I’m a sucker for Hallmark Movies and was did watch 2 last night too. I like their Countdown to Christmas movies too. It was so rainy here in the Pacific Northwest that yesterday was a perfect day for a lazy Sunday!!
