Searching for Someday by Jennifer Probst

November 18, 2013 by Classystaff

I have another great read for you today. I was sent a copy of a new book coming out in 2 weeks to review. In a spin off from the Marriage to a Billionaire series, New York Times and USA Today best selling author Jennifer Probst is starting a brand new series that proves to be just as good as her last.

SEARCHING FOR SOMEDAY by Jennifer Probst
Publisher: Gallery Books
On Sale: November 26, 13

Synopsis:
Searching for Someday continues the “Marriage to a Billionaire” books in a fresh new way – the love spell that factored prominently into the first series reemerges here, as do some characters.

Kate has given up on love—at least for herself. She is both blessed and cursed with the ability to sense a romantic connection between two people—a gift that her family passed down for generations. When Kate launches her own matchmaking company, Kinnection, with her two best friends in a cozy New York town, she has to put aside her own romantic disasters to make her business a success.

But when a furious man stalks into her office and accuses her business of being a scam, Kate is given the ultimate challenge to prove herself. Slade puts himself in her hands and asks Kate to find him love. Enraged at his arrogance but stubbornly eager to prove herself, Kate agrees, dedicating herself to the journey of finding him love…only to find herself falling for him along the way.

My thoughts: One of our readers asked how I can read so many books and my answer to that is once I find a great book, I just keep on reading. I take an evening or weekend afternoon and that becomes my time. I read fast and when a great read comes my way, I tune everything out and just get lost in the story. That is what happened with this book. It was hard to put down!

We have reviewed several of the Marriage series books by Jennifer Probst here and I enjoy her writing style so much! This story features a strong women that can stand up to a strong man and yet you see the soft tenderness on both sides. She offers a quirky story that has humor, care, love and passion in just the right balance. You get more of the romance story building than the passion scenes which makes for an enjoyable read.

I love the strong characters that she builds and watching them change. Each person in Searching for Someday has a great story with many layers. Small things like that really make a difference in the story and keeping your interest there. Jennifer is a great crafter of in depth stories that you want to read and this one is beautiful.

For a relaxing read with some drama, funny scenes, a bit of heartbreak and passion, this is a fabulous well rounded book that you will enjoy! I always look forward to reading books by Jennifer Probst. I spied a few on her website that I need to pick up for the holidays! My gifts to me!

Thoroughly enjoyed your review. It is because of sites like yours I have become aware of more authors I would like to read. Jennifer’s “Searching For Someday”, is definitely a book I want to read! I have not yet had the pleasure of reading one of Jennifer’s books. Generally I stick to historical romance, but after reading great reviews I also become a lover of paranormal romance!!!! I’m branching out everywhere! My very favorite author is Nicole Jordan, and can hardly wait for her newest release!!!!!! Thanks for your giveaway. I’ll enjoy watching your site~! Connie

That is how we book lovers are. We live in that book, that one book that holds our attention. Even when the book ends, we feel lost till we find the next book that keeps our attention, and takes us into that story. Thanks for sharing this book! It looks like an amazing read, and I hope I get a chance to sink into the pages.

Also, another book I would enjoy, Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren. Who wouldn’t love a spicy read, as well as I think it is fascinating that it was wrote by 2 people in 2 different states, wow! that is amazing, and it sounds like the book went well past expectations.
