Hot Coffee, Tea or Hot Cocoa Please!

November 11, 2013 by Shelly

Good morning everyone! Brrrr! It sure did get cold in a hurry here in Pennsylvania! It has been chilly all of last week but yesterday was downright nasty outside! We had 25 to 35 mph winds going on for most of the day & night and our temps were around 38 degrees. Talk about wind chill…oh my gosh! I am so not ready for this!

During those cold Fall and Winter mornings…what do you prefer to drink to start off your day and to warm up in the mornings? I usually go after a good hot flavored coffee but this morning I am all over the hot cocoa and will hit the coffee later. During the hot months I usually go for something cold to drink in the morning but during the cold season, I am all about downing something hot as soon as I get out of bed. What about you? What is your drinking pleasure on those cold mornings?

We had a few giveaways close late last night so we do have winners to announce this morning. As always, we spend time every morning validating entries, trashing out the cheater entries and then randomly select a winner using random.org. We then double check that persons entry to make sure it’s legit and then finalize it.

Winner Elemental Yoga DVD is: Heather Slater
Winner Thomas & Friends DVD is: Kat Emerick
Winner Palmolive Dish Liquid is: Sherry Compton
Winner Dr. Tung’s Oral Products is: Barbara R.

Congratulations to all four of our lucky winners this morning. Wow, that took me forever to verify and select winners this morning so hopefully drawing 4 different winners doesn’t happen often LOL It’s a long time consuming process since we double check entries and disqualify cheaters. Emails will be sent to the winner shortly.

Cold?! I just came home from our annual fall stay in Greece: we were swimming one week ago and came hoe to mittens and hats. Ouch!

Congrats everyone and am I the only one who loves coffee, cocoa, or hot tea no matter if it’s hot out or freezing? I’m from Ohio so I’ve done my time but out West it’s usually mid 70s on a daily basis. I have used a tall mug of anything to warm up my hands. I also like to put cocoa or cinnamon in my coffee for a little treat. It somehow makes me feel cozy warm inside too.

it has been chilly here in nc during the night and is about to get colder. i usually start out with a cup of coffee – usually flavored, that i have made in my mini keurig (which i love!). at night, i like to snuggle up and watch some tv with a mug of capuccino or some hot apple cider. on, and congratulations to the winners of yesterday’s giveaway!

It has been getting cold in the morning here too! I have to brew some hot coffee and have a cup to warm me up. I put in Coffeemate creamer and it is so delicious!

Hot chocolate is one of my favorites for an afternoon treat, though I need my coffee in the mornings.

Congratulations to the 4 winners. Although it took you a long time to verify, etc. we readers appreciate all your hard work. The wind chill made it seem really cold here too, and they are talking about a few snowflakes perhaps tomorrow morning. When it is very cold I prefer either hot tea or hot cocoa. Most of the rest of the day I drink my homemade iced tea.
