Holiday and Christmas Lights from Outdoor Solar Store
** 2013 Holiday Gift Guide Feature **
We are now into the month of November and the holiday rush is beginning. For many of us that means purchasing gifts, planning parties, decorating the inside of our homes and adding some fabulous outdoor holiday lights!
When it comes to outdoor lighting…I am all about solar products which save me time and money. I mean really…why buy lights that run on electrical power when you can have solar powered ones which are greener and more affordable, right?
Well today, let us introduce you to OutdoorSolarStore where you can find all kinds of outdoor solar lights! You will find outdoor solar lamp post lights, solar spot lights, solar attic fans, solar flood lights, solar flag lights, garden and patio lights, street lights and even solar Christmas lights!
For the review I received the Warm White Solar Christmas Lights which has 100 solar powered LED string lights on it. The set includes a solar cell with ground stake and a hanging clamp. These can be used in the garden, along walkways, on patios, on bushes, wrapped around lamp posts, on fences or use them as safety lighting.
You can set the LED lights on the blinking mode or on the constant mode with the flick of a switch! The high-quality solar cell panel comes with a rechargeable battery and with automatic nighttime operation. They can stay illuminated for up to 8 hours.
You simply take them out of the box and put them up wherever you would like them. In our case…we decided to put them around one of our big bushes near our front door. We put the solar cell and ground stake into the ground on the side of the bush that gets the most sunlight throughout the day. (note: do not put it under the bush where it can’t get light, so make sure you put it a few inches outside of the bush area so that the sunlight recharges the solar cell every day).
From night number one…those lights came on all by themselves as soon as it got dark and if we had full sun during the day…they would stay on for 6 to 7 hours. If it was cloudy all day then they would come on & stay on for 4 to 5 hours. We love that during the day you can barely see them in the bush unless you are up close and almost on top of the bush. At nighttime they twinkle so pretty and I love that I selected the warm white color because we can leave them out all year long!
These solar string lights come in 3 different lengths: 50, 100 and 200 lights (length) and we used the 100 lights length and had plenty of length to do a very large bush! They range in price from $25 to $45 depending on length and we highly recommend them! You can get them in the warm white or go for multi-colors…the choice is yours!
Head on over to the OutdoorSolarStore and check out all of their fabulous solar lighting products! They have a vast selection of products at super affordable prices!
